DESN13794 Fundamentals of Spatial Interaction

Human-computer interaction is a central area of investigation in experiential design and is fundamental to professional studio work. This course introduces human experience and interface principles within a spatial context. Students explore the interactions between a diverse range of participants and audiences to inform experiential design scenarios. Students engage in a variety of human-computer interaction scenarios through the observation of interactive spaces, the execution of digital prototyping and developing a fluency for digital languages and processes.
